Personal Safety for High School Seniors

 

The program includes discussion and hands-on training.  It is designed for high school seniors who will soon be entering college or the work world.  The program provides safety tips and a lesson in self-defense.

Topics discussed will include how to prevent you from becoming a victim, types of assaults, types of predators, situational awareness, threat identification and the physical confrontation itself.

The program is open to students in their senior year of high school. Applicants must be a Somerset County student.

 

DATE:                      Monday, May 23, 2016 or Monday June 13, 2016                                                           

TIME:                       6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

ATTIRE/EQUIP:        Loose comfortable clothing/paper/pen or pencil/bottle of water.
